"BE FREE" large scale free themed abstract painting class

The Laurie Maves ART "BE FREE" Large Scale Painting Experience - You too can find Freedom in a brush!~ Welcome to Laurie Maves Guglielmi's latest Sarasota studio, "the 11th Orange," located at 11th and Orange in downtown Sarasota. Laurie selected this space as it has two brightly lit large classrooms with high ceilings that can be completely dedicated to large scale abstract painting and arts and expressive therapies and workshops. Her classes are often termed as “experiences” in hopes this is not a typical group painting class that you may have encountered or participated in the past. The 3 hour event has been designed specifically for individuals with minimal to some painting experience. "Be Free," will be the theme of this large scale abstract painting experience. This event is designed for those who are wanting to paint a LARGE SCALE ABSTRACT EXPRESSIVE WORK that could be displayed as a large art piece or could be separated into multiple smaller pieces suitable for framing. The focus will be on the creative process and mark making to music rather than the finished product. And most importantly, we hope you find joy and consider – “what may you have not considered before about the creative process.” We want you to experience the freedom of painting without a design or plan, as well as the freedom to explore painting and drawing materials together on the same surface Your “BE FREE ABSTRACT PAINTING experience” includes: 1) All materials required to create your abstract masterpiece: 32”x48”overall working surface acrylic paints, painting supplies and drawing materials 4) Instruction from Laurie Maves Guglielmi, a Masters Level ART Therapist and internationally collected and exhibiting artist 5) Instructions on future framing options for the artworks you create on site 6) Coffee, tea and light snacks provided Although we will be providing you with all the necessary materials to create your large-scale painting, please know you are welcome to bring any materials you enjoy working with (pencils, charcoal, pastels, drawing materials, favorite brushes, etc).
